Taking a "Break"

Hey, folks. I’m taking a break from posting the newsletter this weekend. But it’s not a “vacation” break. I work as a copy editor and I have deadlines to meet.

Also—it may be because of the elections, the recent news headlines, health issues, or the lunar year of the Snake—but I’m also starting 2025 feeling a bit overwhelmed. I’m sure I’m not the only one experiencing that.

My tendency is to want to do some kind major overhaul—change my approach to writing this newsletter, for example, or to how I live my life.

But I’m not going to do that right now. I’ll just sit with it and see how I feel next week. In any case, I leave you with a few photos from around the ‘hood.
