Thanks, Leny. I knew that my family had been in Mindanao for centuries, but a cousin who is closer to the family than I am and visits more often, confirmed to me that our roots w/the Subanen are strong.
I met a group of Subanen at the Kapwa conf and also in SF...some of them are in the video you attached. Btw, they built a buklog at the Kapwa conf in Baguio and we all got to dance on it. :-)
