Glad you survived emergency care. Sending you healing qi. Glad to see you up on Instagram again. I simply LOVE your asemic work. Me, I'm drowning in ephemera -- and hope to get organized to write a book. love to you. Ingat!
It wasn’t just that he was a brilliant, historically eminent pianist & pedagogue with an amazing backstory (poor, Black kid in West Philly who practiced on a piano missing 14 strings). Watts was a generous, observant, & kind soul. What is that saying, “greatness is admired, but kindness remembered”? The local piano-teacher community misses him.

Thanks so much, Catie. I look forward to hearing about and reading your book!
What a macabre, bizarre, & rare medical emergency. Hope you’re feeling better.
Can I ask what “terms-of-service rule” you allegedly broke?
And, yeah, that 2015 “Caravan” was jaunty. Nice counterpoint to news of Andre Watts’ death (just a couple neighborhoods east of mine).
Thank you, Liz. I read through their TOS agreement, and couldn't figure out what the issue was. They didn't explain.
Sorry to hear about Andre Watts. He would be a good choice for Soundings in the next issue...
